Objectives
FiberOptic.com's Master Program in Testing is the first of its kind in the telecommunications field. It is designed to provide an unmatched,
real-life experience with solid classroom instruction. Using various labs designed around specific testing
scenarios. The Master in Testing training is a perfect compliment for experienced fiber optic installers
and technicians. Featured are advanced hands-on testing labs demonstrating advanced testing procedures
and techniques. Students work with test equipment from several different manufacturers.
Brief Course Synopsis
In this extensive hands-on training each student will completely:

Audience Profile
FiberOptic.com's Master in Testing (FOT-MFT) program is designed for experienced fiber optic installers and technicians seeking a better understanding of fiber network testing and an enhancement of their testing interpretative skills. This course is designed for experienced Fiber Optic Installers, Technicians, and Communications Specialist involved in the communications, construction, maintenance and troubleshooting, utility, and service industries. An excellent opportunity for current BICSI ITS Installer 2, BICSI ITS Technician, ETA Installers and Technicians, to gain practical field skills that can be immediately put to use on the job.
The following knowledge or experience level is required:
| • | 2 years fiber optic installation experience |
| • | Basic knowledge of testing equipment and procedures |
| • | Be a Fiberoptic.com Certified Professional Certified Installer or Master in Splicing (desired) |
| • | Be a BICSI Technician or RCDD (desired) |
| • | Be an ETA Fiber Installer or Technician or other Industry Certification (desired) |
Requirements
2 days extensive hands-on class, and written & hands-on exam
Credit Toward Certification
When you complete the Master in Testing (FOT-MFT) course and pass the Certified Professional Level 3
testing exams you receive the FiberOptic.com designation Certified Professional – Advanced Installer
"Master in Testing" and are awarded the Fiberoptic.com Certified Professional Fiber Optic Training Level 3
designation. You also earn credit toward the next level of training certification.
Exam Guide
Written exams are designed to test the knowledge gained. Hands-on exams are designed to validate skills.
