Objectives
IN100 BICSI Certified Installer certification will provide the entry level telecommunications cabling installers with the background, knowledge, and basic skills needed to function effectively on the job. Get a head start on your competition with BICSI's comprehensive orientation to the telecommunications industry. This intensive five-day, 40-hour course is designed to provide entry level (apprentice) telecommunications cabling installers with the background, knowledge, and basic skills needed to function effectively on the job.

Competition of the training program provides participants with skills to conduct site surveys, pull wire/cable and test and terminate cooper and fiber cable to the highest level of specification

BICSI's goal is to produce highly competitive installers in a minimal amount of time and at a reasonable cost.

Audience Profile
ITS Installer 1 is for anyone wishing to pursue a career in ITS cabling distribution. ITS Installer 1 training is designed for individuals with little or no cabling installation experience.

IN100 Course will closely benefit the Network/Computer Techs, Security System Installers, Telephone System Installers, Computer Network Installers
Termination Skills.
Connectorization.
Cable Testing.


Requirements
Must attend 5 days course by certified trainer. Hands-on lab included.


Credit Toward Certification
When you successfully complete the IN100 written and Hands-on exam and become a BICSI Level 1 Installer you are required to apply your knowledge on the job. You will receive a BICSI OJT booklet that must be completed before your two year registration expires. You then must move up to IN200 Installer Level 2 or TE300 Technician.

Full credit toward FiberOptic.com Fundamentals Certificate (FOF)
