Awarded to new or experienced personnel who demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of fiber optic theory, codes,
standards and practices widely accepted in the Telecommunications Industry today.

Identifies you as a technician who has
knowledge of basic concepts of fiber optics installation and service which are applicable
to all the functions required to safely and competently install fiber optics communications cabling.

Identifies you as a technician who has
knowledge of basic concepts of fiber optics installation and service which are applicable

ITS Level 1 Installer Certification (IN100)
IN100 BICSI Certified Installer certification will provide the entry level telecommunications

Fiber Optic Splicing Master (FOCP3)
This certification is designed for experienced installers and technicians involved in the construction,
maintenance and troubleshooting, utility, and service industries. An excellent opportunity for
current BICSI ITS Installer 2, BICSI ITS Technician, ETA Installers and Technicians, to gain practical
field skills that can be immediately put to use on the job.

Fiber Optic Certified Technician Certification designed after the FOT certification
identifies professionals who can be involved with designing, configuring, installing,
and maintaining fiber optic systems specific to Outside Plant. Technicians will also be
able to test and troubleshoot a Local Area Network (LAN) system with various faults.
