Technician Training Exams

Technician level exams are our intermediate to advanced level exams designed for students who have either taken one of our introductory courses or who have commensurate industry experience.

• Exam: Certified Telecom Technician (TE-CTT)
  

  This exam must be passed in order to qualify for a certificate in our Certified Telecom Technician course. This exam will consist of a combination of multiple-choice, fill in, diagram drawing, or other similar questions. More information about this specific exam will be given during the Certified Telecom Technician lecture (either online or in person.)

  
  
• Exam: FOT - ETA FOT104 (TE-ETA-FOT104)
  

  This ETA exam may accompany our Master Fiber Optic Technician course. ETA certifications are one of the industry standard certifications in the telecommunications industry. ETA Certified Fiber Optic Training is the only way to take one of these exams (and hence get the certificate.)

  
  
• Exam: Fiber Characterization Technician (TE-FCT)
  

  This exam must be passed in order to qualify for a certificate in our Fiber Characterization Technician course. This exam will consist of a combination of multiple-choice, fill in, diagram drawing, or other similar questions. More information about this specific exam will be given during the Fiber Characterization Technician lecture (either online or in person.)
