Exam: Master Fiber Optic Splicer

Objectives

The FiberOptic.com Certified Master in Splicing Written Exam is designed to measure your ability to comprehend and define fiber optics splicing techniques and fusion splicers.

Requirements

To get pass an exam you need to complete the FiberOptic.com Certified Master in Splicing (TR-MFS) Course.

Exam consists of multiple choice or true/false questions.
The examinee will be allowed 1 hour to complete the written portion of the exam.
In the event the examinee fails the written exam, the option to retake exam at a later date is available and an additional fee will apply.

FiberOptic.com Certified Professional Advanced Installer Master in Splicing Hands-on exam measures your success of the completed Hands-on portions of the Master in Splicing Training.

Credit Toward Certification

When you pass Fiber Optic Fundamentals Exam you will earn full credit toward the following certifications:

• Full credit toward FiberOptic.com Certified Fiber Optic Master in Splicing Certificate (TC-MFS)
• Automatically covered credit toward Fiber Optic Fundamentals written exam (TE-FOF)

Preparation Tools and Resources

The material needed to prepare for this exam will be included in the lecture portion of this course and a written manual.

You are also provided a course workbook. The National Electric Code Handbook, ANSI\EIA\TIA Commercial Wiring Standards, various training videos and other training materials will be made available for your use during the course.
