FiberOptic.com certificates are available for a wide range of specialties in the Telecommunications industry. While we also offer industry standard certification from third parties (as well as BICSI credit), FiberOptic.com certification identifies a student who has gone above and beyond industry expectations by passing a combination of written and hands-on examinations.
Certificates are awarded to students when they pass all of our exams in one of our training courses (including practical exams).

Installer level certificates are new to intermediate level certificates designed for students who have either no experience, limited experience or who wish to brush up on their skills. If a student is new to the telecommunications industry it is recommended that they start with a fundamentals level course from our installer offerings. Identifies you as a technician who understands the basic concepts of fiber optics installation and service as they apply to all the functions required to safely and competently install fiber optics communications cabling.
- Certificate: Certified Telecom Installer (TC-CTI)
This certificate exclusive to FiberOptic.com identifies you as a Certified Telecom Installer who has completed our installer level course (including practical hands-on labs utilizing the lastest techniques and equipment in the telecommunications industry.)
- Certificate: ETA Fiber Optic Installer (TC-ETA-CFI)
Awarded to students who pass the ETA exam in one of our ETA certified installer training courses. This certification is considered an industry standard and is offered in addition to the FiberOptic.com course certification.
- Certificate: ETA Outside Plant Installer (TC-ETA-OSP)
Awarded to students who pass the ETA exam in one of our ETA certified Outside Plant Installer training courses. This certification is considered an industry standard and is offered in addition to the FiberOptic.com course certification.
 Certificate:ETA Premise Wiring Installer (TC-ETA-PWSI)
Identifies you as a technican who has knowledge of the basics concepts of premise wiring installation and service required to safely and completely install telecommunications equipment and cabling.
 Certificate: Characterization Basics (TC-FCB)
Identifies you as a technician who understand the basic concepts of fiber optic characterization and testing as they apply to all the basic functions required to safely test fiber optics communications cabling, utilize OTDRs, and property use testing equipment.
- Certificate: Fiber Optic Fundamentals (TC-FOF)
Awarded to new or experienced personnel who demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of fiber optic theory, codes, standards and practices widely accepted in the telecommunications industry today.
- Certificate: FTTx (TC-FTTX)
Identifies you as a technician who understands the basic concepts of fiber optics installation related to "Fiber to the x" (FTTx) equipment and service which are applicable to all the functions required to safely and competently install fiber optics communications cabling.
- Certificate: i-PRO Installation (TC-IVS)
Awarded to students who pass our Panasonic i-PRO security course.
- Certificate: Outside Plant Installer (TC-OSP)
This Fiber Optic certification, designed after the FOT certification, identifies professionals who can be involved with designing, configuring, installing, and maintaining fiber optic systems specific to outside plants. Technicians will also be able to test and troubleshoot a Local Area Network (LAN) system with various faults.
- Certificate: Premise Wiring Fundamentals (TC-PWSF)
Awarded to new or experienced personnel who demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of premise wiring systems, codes, standards and practices widely accepted in the telecommunications industry today.
- Certificate: Premise Wiring Installer (TC-PWSI)
This certificate exclusive to FiberOptic.com identifies you as a certified Premise Wiring Systems Installer who has completed our installer level course (including practical hands-on labs utilizing the lastest techniques and equipment in the telecommunications industry.)
 Certificate: Wireless Network Technician (TC-WIT)
This certificate exclusive to FiberOptic.com identifies you as a certified wireless technician who has completed our technician level (above installer) course in wireless communications and security (including practical hands-on labs utilizing the lastest techniques and equipment in the wireless communications industry.)

Technician level certificates are our intermediate to advanced level certificates designed for students who have either taken one of our introductory courses or who have commensurate industry experience.
